1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services arranged through Swift Fix UK. By booking a service with Swift Fix UK, you agree to the terms outlined below. Swift Fix UK operates as a coordination and referral service that connects customers with independent local engineers and tradespeople.

2. Our Role
Swift Fix UK acts as a service coordinator. We locate and arrange suitable independent engineers to attend a property to assess and carry out repair work if required. Engineers and tradespeople attending jobs are independent contractors and are not employees of Swift Fix UK.

3. Call-Out Fee
A call-out fee is required before an engineer is dispatched. The call-out fee covers administrative coordination and booking, locating and dispatching a suitable engineer, allocating an engineer time slot, and the engineer’s initial attendance and inspection. The call-out fee does not include repair work, materials, or additional labour. If further work is required, the attending engineer will provide a quote before proceeding.

4. No Cancellations or Refunds
Once a booking has been confirmed and an engineer has been scheduled, the call-out fee is strictly non-refundable. Swift Fix UK allocates office staff time and reserves an engineer time slot when a booking is made. For this reason, cancellations are not accepted once a booking has been confirmed and call-out
fees are non-refundable under any circumstances once the booking has been processed. This policy applies even if the customer decides not to proceed with the repair once the engineer has attended.

5. Quotes for Additional Work
Any work beyond the initial inspection will be quoted by the attending engineer. Customers are under no obligation to proceed with additional repair work. Pricing for repair work is determined by the independent engineer.

6. Payment for Repairs
Payment for any repair work or additional services is made directly to the attending engineer or contractor, unless otherwise agreed. Swift Fix UK only collects the call-out coordination fee.

7. Emergency and Same-Day Services
Swift Fix UK aims to dispatch engineers as quickly as possible. However, arrival times cannot be guaranteed due to factors such as engineer availability, traffic conditions, distance to the property, and delays from previous jobs. Estimated arrival times are provided as guidance only.

8. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate information about the issue when booking, ensure safe and reasonable access to the property, and ensure a person aged 18 or over is present at the property during the visit. If the issue described differs significantly from the actual problem on arrival, the engineer may reassess the
job and provide a revised quote.

9. Liability
Swift Fix UK acts solely as a coordination service connecting customers with independent engineers. Swift Fix UK is not responsible for the workmanship of independent engineers, pricing set by independent engineers, or any damages caused during repair work. Any disputes regarding repair work must be
resolved directly with the attending engineer. Swift Fix UK’s liability is limited to the coordination service provided.

10. Guarantees and Warranties
Any guarantees or warranties relating to repair work, parts, or labour are provided by the attending engineer or contractor. Customers should request details of any warranty directly from the engineer completing the work.

12. Changes to Terms
Swift Fix UK reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
